Getting the most out of a big sale
- Know the regular price first. A "sale" price is only a deal if it's below what the item usually costs. Our weekly posts compare against the store's own regular price.
- Watch for member early access. Some stores open their sales a few hours or days early for paid members, and the best prices can sell out before everyone else gets in.
- Read the shipping line. Free shipping often needs a minimum order or a membership, and it can turn a good price into an average one.
- Check return windows. Many stores stretch holiday returns into January, but not for every product. It's worth a look before you buy.
